“We had a wonderful experience at The Mortimer’s Arms. If you are visiting Paultons Park/Peppa Pig World, the location is unbeatable (within walking distance). The hotel is exceptionally dog-friendly. They provided a water bowl, treats, and a toy for our dog, which was such a lovely gesture. “Great hotel. Staff were good but let down with restaurant weekend staff that could have done more. I kinda felt they didn't make an effort asking a colleague or finding out to andwer my questions instead of just saying "I don't know" Got my simple request wrong 3 times which was a shame. In the end I didn't insist anymore as I felt will just add to my stress.”

“Whilst the staff are friendly and the restaurant and bar are nice, the room and the nights stay are something else . It doesn't bother me that they are dated and basic.....but, the smell of dirty toilet and damp was probably a little much. Not to mention an early wake up call with what sounded like a continuous rattling washing machine on high spin which went on for most of the morning. I never complain, unless I really have to....and this is one of those times ”

“4 star Hotel close to the Hospital in Basingstoke. Pool and Gym Service (if u pick up wrong time pool is full of old English ladies). Rooms are ok, nothing special, needs to be renovated. Bar is pricey for the location and hotel general condition. Recommend for quick customer visit at the hospital.”
