“We had a delightful stay. The Inn is within easy walking distance from restaurants and a lovely town park, and it has lovely views of the inlet. The building itself is gorgeous and our room was delightfully furnished, decorated, and appointed. The staff were kind and attentive. Excellent experience!”

“The facility is beautiful! We couldn’t have been more satisfied with the staff and their helpfulness. When we got to our room, all had been cleaned except for the floors. The rug needed vacuuming and the bathroom had hair on the floor so hadn’t been swept. I think it was an oversight (things happen) and the management got it cleaned up right away. “I have good things to say about the motel itself. My one negative is not about Best Western itself, but just an FYI...check before you go. We were there June of 2026 and there are a lot of roads torn up all around the motel due to redoing pipes. The water was shut off about 10 or 10:30 at night, not sure for how long. “Unsafe to stay in the loft rooms. Door in upstairs bedroom leads out to the roof. Anyone can break in in the middle of the night and rob, rape, or murder you. Staff was unwilling to move me to a different, cheaper room without a loft. No concern or sympathy for my tears while I was on the phone with staff.”

“This is a beautiful location for a hotel! The scenery was awesome and the grounds were perfect for walking my dog. There was lots of shade and Spanish moss in the oak trees, with a perfect view of the marsh and tidal creek. Staff were super helpful and made us welcome with our pet!!”

“The property was in prime location. Just a few minutes to the beach by foot. Literally five minutes. Location was perfect. You can walk just a few blocks and be in the downtown area where you can get food and drinks without any worries about driving. The motel was cute and vintage. Very adorable. Great for a few nights day. If you don’t mind a tiny house living the Royal Palms is the perfect place.”

“Think they did the best they could with an older building. Could use a few inexpensive improvements ie: Kleenex, clock radio, extra mirror on wall, toaster oven, phone for wake up, shelves in shower.”

“I was very pleased with the room and the size of it. Plenty of room to move around. The guest closet was the best, we needed more conditioner. This closet is stocked with anything you need that you may have forgotten. We will definitely be returning on our next trip to Beaufort.”
