“The room was clean. The location was convenient with an easy on/off to where we were headed. The breakfast was great. My only complaint is that because this is out of the way for most larger towns and locations, it would be nice if the breakfast was served earlier on the weekends as well.”

The employees at the front desk are not professionally dressed. You don’t know who hotel staff is. The housekeepers are actually dressed nicer. Parking was horrible! “Small pool and hot tub so if that is what you are going for just be aware. Beds were somewhat comfortable but it is a beautiful property and it is in a great location.”

“I will NEVER recommend The Roadway Inn. I wouldn’t stay there if it were free. As soon as I opened the door the dirty musky smell was sickening. The smashed cockroach on the wall says it all. It’s a bedbug disaster waiting to happen. I should’ve asked to see the room before paying. I went to the front desk and asked for a refund, I was informed I took longer than 5 minutes to cancel therefore I was required to pay for 1 night. “The property is pretty rundown. There were signs of water damage, very dated furnishings and poor housekeeping in our room - after the front desk hyped it up to be a super sought-after room. The entire building looks like it could use a solid scrub down. The continental breakfast was honestly a joke. The room was expensive for what it was.”
