“The location is perfect! Close to downtown, we walk to everything unless we're taking the tour bus to see the sights. We've stayed at other rentals in Mt. Airy, but the hills around many properties make our bike rides unpleasant. The location of the "Mayberry Suite" lets us start our bike rides on flat ground. That's important for us old folks!”

“The property was spacious, very clean, and modern. The brick walls, large windows, and dark hardwood floors maintained the historic feel of the apartment. Very tastefully decorated and with everything we needed. We were only 1 block from the middle of Main Street- a perfect location for wandering through Mt. Airy. We highly recommend this property!”

“Wonderful property. Quiet (although downstairs bar was closed so I can’t say what is like on other days), great location - amazing unit. I definitely want to go back when I can stay longer. Perfect for a nice long weekend! Easy to communicate with the host. ”

“Could not ask for a better property to stay at. Kitchen fully stocked. Loved that you took an old building and refurbished it. Needed more than 2 washcloths for a three day stay but we made do. This is a quaint little town and we love coming there. Hope to return soon and will use you again.”

“Doug and his wife are great hosts. Communication before and during my visit was wonderful. If there were any concerns on my part, all I had to do was send a message. The location was perfect for a short walk across the road to downtown Mt. Airy. The apartment was super cute, welcoming, and felt like home. I highly recommend staying here and definitely will again. ”

“Cool little apartment with lots of room; owner mentioned he was working on additional upgrades and renovations, will have to return and see. Convenient to get into Blacksburg as it's on Peppers Ferry rather than on the way from VT to the highway.”
