“Clean room”

“We pulled up to a very pretty house, big open front deck with porch swing and lovely seating area. Mary greeted us at the door and we got to know each other over a truly sublime homemade carrot cake and conversation around a cozy kitchen table. Her entire home is recently and tastefully renovated, clean and comfortable and we were made to feel right at home. 10 minutes away there was Kauneonga Lake with a small marina and 3 restaurants to choose from for dinner. “1. Ordered 2 things from off the menu from the restaurant. They got the order wrong. 2. Checked in. Received room key. Room was dirty and beds not made up. 3. Received a key card for a new room. Card did not open door to the room.”

“Very disappointing experience. My daughter almost slipped into the pool because the railing was loose, creating a serious safety hazard. We brought this to the hotel’s attention, but no refund or compensation was offered. There was also very limited seating by the pool, the hallways had a strong odor, and the location did not feel safe. Due to these concerns, we chose not to stay and left the property. I would not recommend this hotel.”

The price was a bit high but Saturday in Milford, it’s not herd to understand. The room was very clean and the property is well kept. The owners take pride in their motel. Glad I stayed.”

“After a long stressful drive, my arrival was warmly greeted and easy. The classic old school hotel set up was a nice change from the usual cookie cutter style. Every creak of the stairs had character (no elevator). The room was surprisingly spacious with an unexpected fireplace and large sitting area.
