“We arrived at the hotel and was greeted by the Valet parking attendant who immediately assisted us with the luggage transfer from the trunk to a luggage cart. We then proceeded to check in while he parked the car. Check in was a breeze and we were given 2 little goody bags containing a small bottle of water and a bag of shortcake cookies in each. The room was surprisingly large and very well laid out. The bathroom was large and had adequate towels and space to put toiletries. The room itself...

“The concierge “butler” Shawn was helpful and pleasant and always available. He was a 10/10. The room could use a deep clean. Bathrooms and linens and all were spotless. Just the floor and carpet need a deep clean, not the daily staff fault. The pool and courtyards were charming and of another era. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back. Location is excellent too. ”

“Room was good. Right on the street so thick blackout curtains would have been better. Decor was minimal but good full length mirror and a jazz theme photo. Unexpected refrigerator and microwave in room were nice. Mattresses and chair were very comfortable. Ice bucket in room with onsite ice machine was also good. 4 of the 5 staff members I met were Waldorf quality and friendly, the 5th one was fine and maybe just tired. Not so great was NO IN ROOM COFFEE MAKER and coffee only available in lobby...
