“Nicest staff ever!”

“Charming property with delightful rooms. Victorian decor and old world charm. Staff was friendly. No elevator but stairs to second floor were manageable. Beautiful view from 3 sides in the Garden room. Location was convenient to walk to the falls. Bright dining room. Had an excellent dinner and continental breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.”

“We have always loved staying at the Woodcliff, however, it seems like things have changed. Our room wasn't ready at 4:30, when check in was at 4:00. We waited until 5:30 to get in. The room itself was less attractive and maintained (miss matched glasses, fading paint, rough furniture etc.). The volume on the TV didn't work. The room was very cold, but, it wouldn't "heat" beyond 70. The staff were very nice. We didn't complain, but, we won't be staying there again.”

“Everything was great except the pool. We were looking forward to enjoying the adult only hour but there were several routy kids from 3 different parties there. The front desk told me I should have come up there and they would have sent security. I'm not going to the front desk in my wet bathing suit, freezing cold. They should have security routinely check out the pool at 9:00 or 9:15.”

“There is nothing more they could do to make this stay more enjoyable. the elevator was out one night when we returned due to a storm, they had it up and running late that night.I would highly recommend this hotel.”
