“The host was very responsive when we reached out to her. It is in a very quiet area but close to a winery and restaurant. Several great rooms to read in!”

“The location was absolutely beautiful! We had plumbing issues which Steve was helpful with. We were quite disappointed to see the dock was broken. You can’t control weather though. All in all it was a nice stay. Steve was very accommodating.”

“Very clean cottage with a prefect view of Seneca Lake. The cottage is about 4 miles from Hobart and William Smith College. The only negative is the showers don’t have grab bars and the steps are tricky for those with mobility issues. There was one other oddity with the mirror over the bathroom sink. Many will need a step stool to be able to use it since it is very high up on the wall. Otherwise, perfect!”

“There is NO house number on the building. The host did NOT provide us with info prior to arrival, we had to message him to get access. It appeared that check in was at 4:00, but turned out it was 3:00. The actual property appearance does NOT look like the pictures online. Outside is overgrown, dirty and cobweb’s everywhere. Inside smells musty and gross. Flies everywhere, spiders in the bathroom and shower. It was not clean under the bed. There’s no bathroom soaps or wash clothes and the towels...

“The kitchen area was amazing. The couch was very comfortable and perfect for relaxing. The air conditioning did not work. There were no bathroom towels. Some beach towels. We had three total for 5 people. The advertised private beach access was not able to be found. We gave up and drove to the beach 2 miles away. This could be an amazing place if those things were fixed. We did ask for more towels. But they never came. The basement smelled like gas and I told the owner and he said he would...
