Cottage a Riverheads

“Great place, idyllic. Be sure to get good directions from the host. 104 Fredericksburg rd took us the wrong way. Once we called and figured out where the entrance was we were good. Great spot.”

“This cottage was a great place to have a quiet retreat. Close drive to both smaller and larger area towns. Beautiful country road drives and close to the interstate if desired. All immenties I required for cooking were onsite. Ferne was a great host. Showed us around and answered questions upon arrival. She has created a large binder that provides all kinds of information about the surrounding areas. Front porch views from the swing were relaxing. Would definitely recommend if you want to get...

“Had a great time! Great place to enjoy the mountains!”

“We had a lovely stay and enjoyed the cottage! Heather responded quickly to messages. I do feel like there could be some areas of improvement with cleaning as all the picture ledges, lamp shades and some of the walls have layers of dust and I’m not sure if the place was swept or vacuumed before we came. I understand it’s in the middle of the woods but the amount of living and dead stink bugs was astonishing!! Not sure if pest control could help that out since one fell on me on the couch oh and...

“Best place for pets”

“For our first visit to the Natural Bridge State Park area, we chose to stay at a Vrbo property nearby in the Lexington , VA area. The Rustic Bayberry property nailed it on every category. We had great communications from the property owner & truly enjoyed our time there. Due to 100 feel like temps on the July 4th weekend, we found ourselves at the property most afternoons relaxing as the property’s cooling system was a welcomed item during the heat. Thanks to the Meads for a fabulous...

“Nice quiet location just off the main road. Front bedroom door did not close, knob to control water in the shower fell off while turning but was able to put it back on. Otherwise everything was great!”

“We loved this location. Easy access to Wintergreen, or breweries and wineries along 151. The property is private and quiet, with a great piece of the Rockfish River flowing through. The house itself is so charming - we loved the modern yet rustic feel and the bed was so comfortable (the King size was a nice surprise since the listing said Queen)! We hope to be back soon when we're able to stay longer.”
