“I reserved a room 6 months in advance, but upon check-in was told that they “don’t assign rooms until the day of” so they do not guarantee you get the type of room you reserved. In fact, we did not have 2 beds as reserved. It seems that the reservation system is broken as they should only book what they know they have. Or, at the very least, assign rooms first come, first serve. Very disappointing.”

“The cottage was clean, staff was so friendly, our stay was quiet and peaceful… it was perfect! Definitely planning to stay there again!”

“Nowhere on their website did they mention the lake had no water. They were also doing repairs so the walls had exposed wires. The bathrooms are reminiscent of a hospital bathroom. The rooms are poorly lit with no tv. Lots of history in the buildings just very dated rooms. The breakfast was really great.”

“The room was new and clean but the mattress was foam and slept like a hammock. Killed my lower back. The room was relatively small and the layout of the counterspace was uncomfortable. When we checked in, the attendant was nice but not helpful at all. She was there to point me to click on a website to check in and that was it. I will not go back to Wells MOTEL. It's not a hotel, it's a renovated motel.”

“Staff was excellent. We really enjoyed the boat tour of the lake. Rooms were large and comfortable. A great night's sleep. We really enjoyed sitting on the screen porch and watching the boats come and go. The decor is a bit dated. I believe they said the lakeside rooms were due to be updated in the next year. Restaurant was just so-so. We'd recc. going out to Grand Olde Station for a meal. Overall, a great stay. We plan to go back in the future.”

“Excellent staff. Caring and helpful. Clean! Nice breakfast. Spacious king size bedroom. Only issue was the single elevator failed and climbing 3 stories was no fun at all. Fortunately it failed one day ago and not at the start of our weeklong stay.”

“Property was clean. It was well stocked. Kitchen was very nice. The bathroom was spacious, clean nicely laid out. Did not like that they charge you or Matthew 20 something dollars a day for men that you have right out of the property whether you use it or not they automatically charge you for every night you stay which is not just justifiable. It is better to charge you if you use the amenity as soon as you go in since you have to drive to the location, they can charge you an interest rate...

“Lovely cabin with a very comfortable bed. A little tricky to find at first. WiFi was great. No cell service. Clean and neat with a warm and homey feel. Good communication. I would recommend this properly. ”

“What a find! This was a beautiful home nestled in the woods with lots of amenities, ping pong , foosball, board games, hot tub, fire pit, gardens, creek, big enclosed deck, and much more. We were so comfortable that we only left once to go to the fireworks show in Canton during our six day stay. We can’t wait to go back. Thanks Conny for sharing your wonderful home!!!”
