“Absolutely love this hidden gem! Second time staying here. The property, everything is amazing. We even tried the restaurant downstairs and the food was beyond our expectations!”

“I have stayed at this property multiple times in the past three years. Employees very nice and helpful. Property showing a little wear but still very good. Bed comfortable. Property quiet. Bathroom clean other than some hair on floor either from prior guest or staff ….. Felt safe. Would recommend.”

“Steve and Karen are wonderful hosts. They are considerate and kind. Breakfast was delicious. We were serenaded with Steve on the fiddle and Karen on the washboard. Great fun. Enjoyable visit. ”

“I actually enjoyed most of my time at Choctaw, however, I was annoyed that I was not allowed to go to 21+ side swimming pool because I forgot my ID at home. I had a photo of my ID but the staff would not accept that. One of the main reasons I decided to spend my anniversary at Choctaw was to spend a good amount of time at the adults only swimming pool. I feel like an exception could have been made. I paid close to $500 for one night there, and I wasn’t able to fully access all the amenities....

“Hotel check in staff were very nice. Provided information on breakfast, wifi passwords, transportation services. Hotel is older, but very clean and well maintained. Breakfast was good. Would stay here again.”

“Highly over-ratel and low maintained, rooms were dirt and no coffee to go in the morning. Kitchen didn’t have any cookware.”

“You get what you pay for!!!!.....but this property is designed for success for the value....problem is housekeeping is nonexistent. Thick film of grime/dirt/gunk/mold on every surface. Hard floors, countertops, tiled bathroom.....all they had to do is remove the grease film and I would have been happy...rough neighborhood but I found it acceptably quiet.”
