Hotel a Caddo Mills

“Staff was friendly but disliked the extra information that had to be entered on the IPad. It added an extra unnecessary step. I had pre booked the room. The grounds were nice but this hotel has a lot of construction/ outdoor workers apparently stay here so there was clumps of dirt from the front door to the front desk and lobby area then upstairs off of the elevator. The hotel can’t clean constantly I know but it was just off putting”

“Here are the reasons I would never recommend this hotel: 1st- I found a bug crawling in the bed after I was bit on my back. 2nd-the door cards were very difficult to use; 3rd-the elevator was not working: 4th- the toilet was running constantly, so my husband had to fix the flapper; 5th- the TV remote didn’t work. The desk attendant tried 4 remotes and none worked from the bed. I tried to get a refund for my stay but was denied. We left at approximately midnight when I found the bug in the bed.”

“I had an accessible room - four grab bars in the tub and the adjustable hand-held shower head was fabulous! The room was quite large, had lots of lamps and outlets and cell phone plug-ins. The OJ at breakfast was delicious - not watered down like most hotel free breakfasts. Will definitely stay there again. Kathy Berman”

“The property was clean, and the staff was great, but the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash containers are at the end of the tub/shower where the contents can’t help but fall on the inside of the tub making it very slickly. I slipped and bruised my shin pretty bad while trying to get in the shower. So, be very careful when getting in the shower! Also, we stayed three nights, and the second morning while we were trying to get dressed for our grandson’s graduation, all the lights in our room went...

“We had to move rooms first night because the shower head didn’t work. They were also missing a door handle on the bathroom door. Also there was no ledge of any kind in the showers to put your shampoo or soap on. Had to put the bar of soap they gave us on the ground with anything else you needed. A few people were traveling with us also had very low water pressure and shower problems.”

“There was a pool, but it was dry. There was no water. There was no breakfast served of any kind just coffee and tea from what I understand. The room was very clean. The air conditioner worked very well and surprisingly, even though it was close to the interstate and there was a truckstop in the back it was very quiet and I didn’t have any problem sleeping.
