“This was a great house in the mountains. It was clean and had everything we needed. The front porch was amazing, allowing us to sit and watch nature, with our pup joining in on the family activity. Bring food and drinks and enjoy nature in this comfortable home. You could go out to eat, but you have to navigate the windy mountain roads, and everything is 20 plus minutes away. “Our communication with the host was excellent and Scott was very responsive to answer any questions about the property. His recommendations on where to eat and local attractions were very helpful. We also enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub after hiking and kayaking on the Rivanna River. This was our first trip to Wintergreen Resort and we will definitely be back.”

“This was an excellent place for on overnight stay near Staunton. The cottage was neat and efficiently laid out, and the free ranging chickens were a delight. Far enough away from downtown Staunton that you felt like you were in the country but close enough to get to the theater in less than ten minutes.”
