“The lobby was very dirty as we're the halls. Room was reasonably clean, but furniture battered with chunks of missing finish. The whole facility smelled strongly of pungent food being cooked, and tobacco smoke. There was no one at the desk for some time. When she finally turned up she said she was working an extra shift without relief and was about to lock up and leave. As it was only 5 pm I asked what would happen if we were later. “It was a great location for Lumberjack Days in downtown Stillwater. It was one of the hottest weekends we've had in Minnesota in a longtime so the window AC units had a tough time cooling the place down the first night upon check in, but they did eventually catch up the next two days. Overall a nice place to stay.”

“My bestie and I were in town for a Lady Gaga concert. This was perfect for our quick over night. The neighborhood is beautiful and I wish we had more time to explore. It is a small basement apartment and there was noise from other guests, but it’s super cute and we would gladly stay again! Nicole was very responsive and kind every time I messaged her. ”

But for those expecting a living room hang out with tv, this property didn’t have that. Check in and out was easy, clear communication from the owners. Overall a great stay!”
