Dopo la consegna delle chiavi della stanza e la scelta dell'orario della colazione, per evitare l'affollamento, parte la vostra vacanza. Pulizia e distanziamento sociale garantiti. Non è comunque epoca per accessi assicurati a musei o monumenti. Tanti i percorsi a piedi o in bicicletta, se ne siete forniti. Il luogo è tranquillo e piacevole.”

“Great location, so close to town centre, fantastic host, George couldn’t do enough for us. Lovely room overlooking the quiet cobblestone one way street in view of the cathedral. Breakfast has a selection that is cooked to order and is amazing, the full English is a must. Had a wonderful short stay that couldn’t have been better, thanks 40 Winks”

“We chose the hotel at random, knowing it was central and had on site parking. In fact it was the perfect choice for exploring the city. Close to all the historic sites, and easy walking to restaurants and pubs. The staff were very friendly and efficient - which made the stay even better.”

“Absolutely outstanding guest house - I was really impressed from the moment I arrived. The room was enormous and very comfortable, with everything I needed. It was the perfect temperature and almost unnervingly quiet and peaceful. The bed was very comfortable and everything was spotless. Breakfast was great, and the owners were very accommodating.”

“While a 10-15 minute walk from downtown, the scenery and location were gorgeous and quaint. The staff, the room, the breakfast, and the stay were just what we were looking for. We took the train to Durham, dropped our packs off at the inn, and spent the rest of the day walking around town and along the river. ”

“Very basic hotel, requiring refurbishment. The main problem: they offer brekfast using a Gym structure 50-100m away out of the parking. This structure is not suitable for food and the breakfast is very poor and NOT cheap. Apart from this, there is no agreement with the hotel and you have to sign a book each time you enter. Sure I'll NOT came back.”

“It’s a lovely hotel and very convenient stop. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We only had breakfast but it was delicious and plenty of it. The decor was lovely but needed a bit of tidying and the vase on the table needed a clean. I’m not keen on fake flowers which gather dust and the winter sun shows the glass vase needing a polish. I’m being picky hoping I’m being helpful. It was a fab stay and I thoroughly recommend it and would stay again. ”
