Hotel a Tylersville

“Rooms need lamps/outlets updated to allow usb plug in. Smart TVs would also be a nice touch. Had a small issue with the room that the GM personally addressed. Dinner was lackluster, but for something that’s free it’s serviceable. Staff an the overall property were both A+ though”

“Would have rated this higher except that there were a couple of times that I smelled cigarette smoke near the entrance due to workers smoking right outside the front door (one time I saw the worker, the other time it seemed that way but I didn't see it, just could smell it by the breakfast area). Would suggest not allowing workers to smoke that close to the entrance. I am a big fan of Holiday Inn Express & Suites and probably the main reason is due to how smoke-free they keep their hotels.”

“This was the worst hotel I have stayed at in Mason in all my visits. Extremely overpriced. I paid $180 per night for two nights. Check in was not good. I could barely understand what the front desk guy was saying. The room was very small, dated and musty smelling. There was no USB port in the room! Breakfast sucked. The eggs weren't real. I'm not sure what they were made out of. The English muffin was cold with no way to toast it. I will never stay here again.”

“Nice place. A little challenging to find the driveway, but right off the highway, restaurants nearby, and a neighborhood for a morning run. The room was clean and comfortable. The evening front desk attendant was super helpful, as was the morning breakfast attendant. Highly recommend!”

“The room was spacious and clean. A wall between both would have made for nicer accommodations. Breakfast was okay. They need to invest in better coffee and make sure it is always hot. The last night was not so great. It seems that a ball team was staying there and they were loud in the hallway until midnight talking, running, and slamming doors. Location felt very safe. “The breakfast was the best that I have had at a motel...the staff were so accommodating and really seemed to care that we were taken care of.”

“The room was OK, but the bathroom was due for a deep clean. The was something wrong with the entry door to the room; it required a very hard push to open or close. Breakfast bagels stale and those fake eggs are gross! ”

“Property amenities were good. Eating options nearby. Only complaint was the hallways and elevator smelled awful musty.”

“My king bed room was fine. It’s just the rest of the place that looks a bit worn. There are big rig trucks parked on one side of the hotel, and when I got there, someone was blasting music while cleaning out his car and the people next to him were grilling in the parking lot. The common spaces smelled a bit of cigarettes and there isn’t an elevator to the second floor. The vibe didn’t make me feel totally comfortable but I was fine once in the room. It was clean and quiet.”
