“Owner sorted out some hassles with the initial identification verification process that they require, but after that, everything was great and hassle free. Would stay here again.”

“The rooms were very clean. The kitchen was nice and the full-size fridge not too noisy. Parking was easy, although the driving directions are just odd. Breakfast was fine. There was an issue with extremely noisy neighbors that was addressed by the staff and then resolved by their relocating me. Onsite laundry was not cheap, but what is these days? All told, a fine place to stay and a good value.”

“From the very beginning, the Balsam Mountain Inn sang to me. I'd never been here before. I wanted a bed and breakfast near the Blue Ridge Parkway; and, yes, something affordable. The Inn is a HALF MILE from the Parkway, and the price was right for our mid-week getaway. Such an interesting, historic place. Between Waynesville & Sylva. So relaxing!”

“Spacious room for a couple and even a family. Bed was very comfortable. No noise. No light distractions. The breakfast buffet (bought at extra charge that was very reasonable) was excellent. High quality food and great variety. Great way to start the day. For the room this size the bathroom was small and only one of us could be in it at a time. The shower drained poorly and water would accumulate quickly.”

“Great stay beautiful scenery”

“It was clean. It was well located within the city even if it is beside the highway. It is incredibly noisy and after being woken up multiple times despite exhaustion, a sound machine, and a second ambient noise machine, I asked to be moved and considered myself lucky to be moved to the other side of the building on a low floor. I really should have just left. There is no elevator, no laundry, no coffee machine in the room. Items were not necessarily cleaned and I found old fruit in a bowl left...

“This is a religiously founded and administered hotel. Clean and quiet.”

“Property was well cleaned and staff was very supportive. Breakfast was good. Some area of improvement is Lift which is very old and close early. Also it will be good if items have name listed for breakfast so it will be easy for vegetarian to select. I will definitely plan to stay again if plan to go Maggie valley next time.”

“Convenient location with a friendly staff. The sleeping room was extremely clean with good linen and attention to detail other than a plastic ice bucket that was cracked. Parking lot was in serious need of a clean up. Electronic door lock was slightly faulty. One of the key cards didn't work at all. Toilet needed to be flushed twice to cleanse anything from it. When I turned the hot water on in the tub it came out brown initially. The hot water had a slow drip and the shower head barely...
