“I booked for the solo experience and most definitely to cook my food outside on the fire pit. When I received my check in information an hour prior to 4pm check in is when they disclosed full no burn ban through the duration of April, had this information been disclosed I probably would not have booked or waited until the ban was over. “bed was extremely comfortable!! ”

“The rooms were comfy, spacious and clean. The breakfast was very good.”

“Stayed for two days. Conveniently located off the interstate. Parking was easy and secure. Easy drive to Staunton as well as shops and dining place. Staff was very courteous. Room was clean and comfortable. Was great value for the price. Would definitely stay again.”

“This property is actually a very run down motel. The three story facility does not even have an elevator! When we found this out we asked for a first floor room only to find that the room was actually UNDERGROUND up to the window sill and faced directly on to the parking lot (i.e lined up with the car exhaust pipes!) The only positive note was the courtesy shown by the staff member at the reception desk. We did not spend the night there.”

“The property is a beautiful old home from 1800's. The grounds are well kept and the bathrooms are upgraded beautifully. There are fire pits for cooler weather. It was off season so the pool and hot tubs were not available. The game room is very fun and the parlor had some snacks and drinks.”

“Checking in was great and efficient. Staff was very informative and helpful. The morning after check in we discovered that the bath tub had not been cleaned. Totally unacceptable! When I told the front desk the staff member said she would let the manager know. That is far as it went. It never got cleaned. Would not stay there again!”
