“Everything was really beautiful There is no staff at check in so when I couldn’t find the message containing the code to get in I had to call and had to leave a voicemail. Thankfully I did finally find it because I never did get a call back. Otherwise a beautiful property close to the square and abita cafe which was amazing ”

“Staff was great. Pillows, if you can call them that, suck. Bring your own. Shower is wonky and old. I’m short and it’s small. But it’s cheap and safe. And overall clean. ”

“Frosted Flakes and Raisin Bran were the only breakfast items offered. There was milk, coffee, and creamer available also. This is not my idea of breakfast. I was expecting more!”

“The room was dirty. I cannot stand dirt in corners. The bathroom is too small for the door to close. The drain around the tub was rusted. The Toliet was not seated firmly. And the mattress was so thin that I could feel the steel frame. Needles to say I had pressure points from laying on it and a terrible nights sleep. ”

“The rooms need updating, there was stains in the ceiling. The tub is outdated, the toilet flushes really slow, the floor was sticky and the second bed was missing pillows on arrival, but when we returned to our room on the second day there were pillows on the bed but our room had not been cleaned, no new towels or anything, so we were confused as to why someone had been in our room”

“Night check in was easy and pleasant. As was morning check out. Unfortunately expedia did not pass my full contact info.to the hotel, so they were unable to contact me and verify I was still coming for a very late check in. Rooms were clean and in good shape. It's a super 8, not the Ritz so have reasonable expectations...pool was drained (not an issue for us). We did not stay for breakfast. Easy access to highway and plenty of parking. Great experience”

“This is a beautiful property that has some areas being renovated thus were under construction. The pool was not available for use due repairs. My room window shade was broken and could not be pulled down to block the light. Though I had the above mentioned issues, my overall experience at this hotel was good. I would definitely use this property again.”
