Quiet neighborhood and beach is literally 4/5 houses down! The Oxnard area gave me a feeling of laid back friendly welcoming neighbors. The owner's were easy to contact and responsive. ”

The location was “senior friendly” (bedrooms on first floor, steps to the sand and nice umbrella and table to eat outdoors) and “teen friendly” (beach, sand, games) — everyone had a wonderful time. “Amazing property. If I could give this pace 6 stars I would still want to give more. The location was perfect. Several places we have stayed claimed to be steps away from the beach but this was legitimately "steps away from the beach." The location really felt like we were way out of town but we were actually just 10 miles away from every place you would need for shopping. The beach felt like a private beach as well. “Loved our stay. Great home with plenty of room right next to the beach. The patios have a nice view if you just want to relax at home. Outdoor shower is good for cleaning up after a day at the beach Would definitely stay there again”

“this place is very very charming however we had some slight issues- we believed there was mold. A few of us had some breathing issues when we arrived. It felt better once opening all of the windows but not ideal. Also, I got terrible chigger bites from the yard (but no one else in the group did). So- if you keep all of the windows open, yet wear a ton of bug spray- you'll be ok. Amazing location. ”
