“El muchacho de recepción fue. Grosero me dijo que no tenía ninguna reservación por expedía y no había internet le dije que si me podía dar la clave del wifi y ni siquiera espero a que yo buscara mi reservación y me cobró una vez más. Fue un grosero. Por otro lado todo estuvo bien. Solo estuve una noche ahí, la mañana siguiente si había un muchacho muy atento. En recepción”

“None of the below is exaggerated:
Half of the rooms had no door handles..open and looked like sqatters lived in them..stairwells blocked..pool empty full of trash.
Odd smell in room.
Room appeared clean but very very outdated 30 yrs old furniture..beds were on rolling casters and pushed around during the night. Bathroom and vanity not stoc stocked..no hand soap in either and only 1 towel. Threshold into bathroom too high, tripped and fell into the tub in the middle of the night.
Not up to...

“This is the first time I’ve had the reception personnel check in daily by text about our stay. And accept requests or answer questions by text. Even though it was by text, there was a human aspect to the interactions. Everything was great. The only minor issue we had was the laundry detergent which was supplied by the hotel was Tide. We are both allergic to string detergents but the staff was helpful in suggestions in finding alternatives. The only thing we didn’t experience was the restaurant...

“Pluses: Staff is excellent, well maintained, valet, bell boys, front desk very attentive. I was concerned about valet only but it worked out well, didn’t have to wait too long. Pool table was great. Negative: water pressure in shower was horrible, took a long time to take a shower, pool and jacuzzi very small. Had to drive every time you needed something. No restaurant. Probably would stay again for the right price. Stayed here in summer. Could walk to a Heavenly ski lift in winter.”

“Bed covers were stained, AC didn’t go below 71, also the price you pay doesn’t include parking which was 20 dollars for self parking and an additional 35 dollars for a resort fee. Why don’t they just put the total when you reserve the room. So I wasn’t too happy about that and also they don’t give you anything complementary. What a bunch of cheapskates”

We visited in summer months so we did not need the fireplace but it did make the room feel very cozy - we enjoyed the cookies at check in as well as the coffee and tea bar in the room. The bathroom was nice and roomy and the property was well maintained. Will stay again when in Tahoe”
