I would have NEVER booked and paid full price to stay there during this time had I been made aware. “We were lucky to find an available room with it being race weekend. The staff was amazing, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the water pressure was awesome and the water temp was also good. The air was cold at first but through the night I wasn’t as cold. The hotel is old and needs a major update especially for the price. We felt safe and was in a great area. Honestly other than needed to be updated I can’t complain.”

“I gave this 3 stars for several reasons. First of all, The front desk guy did not seem too thrilled to see me. the room over all was clean. I checked for bed bugs and other creepy crawlers...none. The tub was clean, so were the sink and toilet. The floors were pretty clean but, there were dust bunnies. The towels and wash cloths were clean too. “We asked for a pet friendly room and I understand that you usually get a gently used, not perfect room. Overall we felt the room floors were dirty, the bed springs squeaked and 6:00 AM breakfast arrived about 6:20. Plus side it was in a convenient location. We did get a first floor room as requested. Did not see the $25 pet fee when we made the reservation. Wished it would have been disclosed on the Expedia website.”
