“The Georgetown has been our go to hotel for years. We love the ambience, the menu and the staff. It’s always quiet and clean. My spouse has dietary requests that can be met at the Georgetown or within a few minutes walk. When available, we take one of the rooms with a claw foot bathtub - it’s a great way to end a day of hiking. It’s just a great spot! ”

“We ate at the Barley Room Pub. It was a festive atmosphere. The staff are full of personality, courteous and helpful--they really make the experience. The room, had some unvacuumed dust under the beds, but the great price for the room and at the restaurant make any minor inconveniences well worth it. ”

“The Monastery hotel is beautiful. The room was clean and cozy. The electric fireplace was on and the room was nice and warm which was appreciated on a snowy night! The spa tub was beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast at the Monastery Bistro was delicious. ”

“Easy to find. Ultra easy check-in process. Hosts and Staff were very personable and professional. Lovely old character hotel, on a historic street. The King Suite I booked had tons of old style charm, big huge bed; and the amenities of a modern bathroom, Cable TV (Olympics), heating, medium size refrigerator, coffee making and excellent security. Very classy Restaurant right down stairs. And the best pub in town right next door. Many stores, shops and restaurants/bars nearby. Super...

“The room was unique and even larger than expected. The staff was super friendly and accommodating and they have a great pub right downstairs with a live band for food and beer on a Saturday night. ”

“I stayed for a few days in wintry January. The room (facing Pownal, 3rd floor) was a clean and cozy refuge from the weather. There was a thermostat I could adjust when it was especially cold and windy outside. The staff were all lovely and every morning I enjoyed complementary coffee available downstairs. There are single-use cups available, however, I brought my own thermos which I took to my room and sat back to enjoy the beautiful morning sky from the window.
