“I’m afraid the Guv’nor was a bit of a disappointment. It was a great price, compared to posher downtown hotels but I likely wouldn’t stay there again. The room was adequate but had a musty smell we were never able to clear. Disappointingly, we stayed for three nights and the room was never made up during that time. This would have been less disappointing if they had informed us at check-in. Further, if they didn’t plan to make the room up during our stay, they should have supplied us with more...

“Room was clean and had a beautiful view of the water It was small but we were only overnight so it was perfect. Quiet with comfortable bed.”

“The restaurant is attached to the Inn. The restaurant food is extremely delicious and has a fun vibe. The Inn rooms were very clean . We appreciated the little extra’s (homemade cookies. tea, and coffee in the room) Very comfortable and soft bedding! Good location”

“Unfortunately they had some staffing and town water issues when we were there so we couldn't try the restaurant which is why they only got 4 stars. The great view, room size, and amazing location made up for not being able to eat at the restaurant. The room could use some updates and the bed was smaller than we expected, but we would 100% stay there again. Worth paying the extra money to stay in town and would 100% recommend this place to anyone passing through.”
