“Only downside is bathroom has glass walls that you can pull drapes for privacy but sadly no ceiling. If you need privacy to do your business it might not be the best choice. Other than that it is a great space up several flights of stairs.”

“The hotel is located right inside the old town and is just a short walk to the nearest exit at Pile Gate. Check-in is at another location but is close enough. “I had a wonderful stay at La Vita e Bella in Dubrovnik’s Old Town. My room (Room 1 at La Vita e Bella IV) was recently renovated, spotless, and full of thoughtful touches. It had a small espresso maker with pods, a teapot, a tiny safe, and even fresh fruit. We were able to store our luggage upon an early arrival before check in, and they assisted with carrying it up the steep flights of stairs (the only drawback, but we discovered you can't get away frrom that in Croatia!)”

“The La Vita Bella group excels at making your stay feel special. Even though our room was small, they went above and beyond to provide the extras (robe, slippers, fruit, coffee/tea). The space was very comfortable and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring (and walking up 100+ steps from the main avenue). The staff were extremely polite and friendly and very helpful. It was great to have a space to store luggage with them. Would highly recommend as a place to stay in Old Town.”

“Our apartment was perfect: very clean inside, two bathrooms, everything worked perfect, beds very comfortable, inside the ancient walls and easy to get to everything. The only minor issues were first entering the steps up were dirty and then the door lock was fussy. But then walking in was perfect and I have no problem giving 5 stars.”

“Comfortable property. It's important to understand the physical fitness required to stay inside the walled city of Dubrovnik. Climbing 100s of stairs on uneven surface without a handrail is required. Otherwise this is a tremendously fun way to visit Dubrovnik. We did have some rental communication difficulty resulting from a change in check in procedure while flying that did not reach us. ”
