“Nothing special about the rooms which, were accessed from outside. Expensive stay. The main draw is the Spa, pool,etc which we didn't use. Our dinner at the restaurant was excellent. Michelin star quality. Location was good for Buchart Gardens and excellent for the ferry which was right next to the hotel. There is a large pub for middle of the road dining, frequented by locals. It was very busy. Overall, it was excellent for a spa-oriented stay but otherwise expensive and nothing special.”

“The hotel had a nice vibe and room was partly renovated. Hotel must have a humidity problem. Room smelled strongly of mildew making it hard to sleep in. When we got home the clothes we slept in still smelt of mildew. Not sure if all rooms are like this but we stayed on the main floor room 131. Very disappointed. The price we paid for this room was outrageous. Would not recommend or stay in this hotel again.”

“The property is location in a beautiful country setting. Very impressive modern home. Well decorated, super clean and great beds. We were on a business trip but this home would be great for a family vacation in fact probably two family could stay at one time since there are so many rooms and beds. Very private huge yard which would be great for BBQs in the summer or anytime. The house is well stocked as well. It was just great. I feel it was the best rental unit we have stayed in over the years....

“Beautiful house! We had 14 people and it was comfortable and very clean. The host gave us a walk-through when we got there, which I though was excessive at first, but it gave us a great sense of the house and we didnt have to wonder where things were or how to turn things on. The hot tub was great, we didn't end up going in the pool. The game room was a huge hit! Overall, we felt the home and the host were very welcoming and we would stay there again.”

“Great location and plenty of space! Super close to everything you need: Butchart Gardens, Butterfly Garden, shopping (grocery / market, pizza, coffee house, pharmacy, pub). A short drive to Victoria. Had fun playing pool. Lovely views from the back porch. Quick responses from host. Easy access to private off street parking. Quiet, friendly neighborhood. Only minor complaint, while the home’s temperature is reasonably maintained, climate controls are locked. With the mild spring weather,...
