“Its not just old. The bed mattress was brown from years of wear and no maintenance. Sheets were so warn out they would have never stayed on the bed if you tried to sleep on them. Absolutely disgusting,”

“This property is not at all what the pictures show. This place is not very clean. The bathroom had a musty smell. Room windows had a large Crack that was glued. The air fan was extremely loud making it hard to sleep. There were dirty towels laying in the hallway. At 12:30 in the morning I could hear men walking the hall cursing and making obscene remarks. I would never stay here or recommend anyone to in the future.”

“Terrible smell inside , exit doors had tape around the lat h so wouldn’t close pretty sketchy , ask for blanket and manager refused to give us one”

“The room we stayed in had wet carpet and smelled like mildew really bad. We reported to the front desk and no one ever addressed it. I will say the pool was very well kept and warm.”

“This BnB is gorgeous! The house amazing, beds are comfy, and my room was huge! They provide nice robes. I did not get a chance to enjoy breakfast, so I cannot speak to that. The house is set back off the road, is very quiet & peaceful. Staff is really nice. They are having some work done on the front of the house, but that did not bother me at all. I would love to stay here again.”

“The cabin was adorable. It was very clean. The bed was very comfortable and the surrounding areas were perfect. We went there on our anniversary and really enjoyed the cozy cabin. The owner was extremely helpful throughout the whole process. Easy to access a quick to respond. We’ll definitely come back.”

“The room I stayed in had a terrible odor the shower had hair in it when I got there. I stayed 2 nights and on the second day I asked for towels and the front desk clerk said she would send some up I asked twice never received any. Oh and there breakfast ends at 9:00 and most of the other hotels owned by the same people are open till 10 the only thing nice about the hotel was the pool was clean and it’s close to Claytor lake”

“Second time staying here and again was not disappointed! Immaculately clean and so welcoming. Jill, the host, was again attentive and the muffins were delicious! Definitely recommend staying here!!!!!!”

“Excellent stay!!! Wifi is spotty and phone service is nonexistent so make sure you have other means of communication already downloaded on your phone. I do have to said that we (12 cousins) did not miss our phones at all, it give us a means of connecting with the family that we hadn’t seen since Covid.”

“Looks can be deceiving because this house has plenty of room inside! It was spotlessly clean in every room upon arrival. So cute and sweetly decorated inside. The kitchen well supplied. Nice bathroom and laundry room as well. I am planning on returning next year when I can stay longer. Oh, and the cows were a nice added touch! Easy access from 77.”

“House was very clean with a well appointed kitchen. Great space for a large family with room to spread out. We love being beside the beautiful creek. ”

“The property was beautiful. Loved seeing all the cows. There is a big picture window in the living room and the view was great. The road into the property was very windy. House was very well maintained and the gas range with infrared lights was fun to use. I made omelettes. The host was very quick to respond to all questions and requests.”
