“Room was fine, mattress was a bit too soft but room was clean. The biggest drawback was the wifi was really, really, really poor. Location was very convenient, within walking distance of the ferry dock and the local restaurants and shops.”

“My grandson went into the restroom in the pool area. The owner/maintenance guy finally came and was rude and blamed my grandson. After 4( minutes they finally drilled out the lock and got him out. He is ten years old and was terrified. If that is how they handle situations I am glad it wasn’t more serious and I don’t need to stay there. On the other end the lady working the desk at check in and check out was very nice.”

“I booked what was advertised as a picturesque lakefront cabin. Instead, when I checked in, I was directed to what appeared to be a small shed-like structure in the middle of a parking lot. It was not lakefront, did not resemble the accommodation shown in the listing, and was absolutely not what I paid for. I was assigned "cabin" #440, yet the only cabins I could find were numbered 1, 2, and 3. After multiple phone calls, being told to keep trying keys that did not work, and being instructed to...

“Bed was super uncomfortable, definitely in need of replacing them. Location was a wonderful positive for this motel and the pool/hot tub was nice!”

“Waterpark doesn’t open until 2 which is a bummer but the beach is across the way. Beds are clean and comfortable. Bathrooms lack drying lines for wet clothes. The kitchenette that is advertised for the suite is nothing more than an average hotel room kitchen… it just has more cabinets. Do plan on bringing a hot plate if you want to cook in your kitchen. Staff are helpful and accommodating.”

“The room was clean. There wasn't a microwave in the room, but there was one on the property that could be used. Having a refrigerator in the room is always handy. We could sit and take pictures of the lake and Mackinac Bridge on the beach behind the hotel. It was too cold to go in the pool or the lake. The hotel was within walking distance to the ferry. However after walking all day on the island, it was nice that there was free transportation back to the hotel.”
