“Beautiful historic property in a very cute neighborhood. The restaurant and bars were very well staffed, service was excellent and dinner was delicious, get the coconut cake! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice getaway or en route further south. Hoping for an opportunity to visit again.”

“I checked in around 3 pm. A female receptionist came out as soon as I enter the lobby. Lobby was clean and smelled nice. I did not receive welcome gifts. The next morning there were bunch of welcome bags sitting the back of the front desk so definitely not out of stock. I do not know why the receptionist did not give to me. I was charged $20 when checked in and told that it will be refunded at the time of check out. When checking out, I was told that it will take a couple of days. Now I have to...

“Got Walmart ice cream at the front desk for $6.50. They made $5.50 on each one of these. Also selling water they got from Walmart for $2.50 the case of water didn’t even cost that much. Horrible, make sure you have your own snacks or you will be bent over and crammed with a fist full of dollars.”

“our room was very spacious. small fridge needs a freezer as well. for ice packs for travel back home. needs a ceiling fan. but, all in all it was a very nice place to stay.”

“It was horrible, the worst accommodation ever! Don't stop here... Every person who checked in before and after me had something to arguing with the hotel stuff. Door broken, old bathroom, dirty room, no fridge, no towels for 4, only for one and dirty! It was too late to leave and find something else. Wi-fi didn't work! A horrible night! It seems the hotel never had a refreshing in 50 years and more! Avoid it!”

“The only thing that I enjoyed was getting my full refund back within 24hrs. The staff were polite and did the best that they could, but I was in my room for two minutes before I checked out. Rudja and Lamont were kind and understanding. With all that being said, I think this place should be investigated, it's too much of a safety hazard.”

“The owner, Claudia, was amazing. So helpful and kind. Parking in back was much appreciated, breakfast was freshly made, delicious and served in one of the beautifully decorated common areas. The room was comfortable and clean. The mansion is pre Civil War and furnished accordingly with antiques. If you're looking for modern hotel amenities you will be disappointed, but if you're looking for charm, warmth and a gracious host, you will love Ragland Mansion. Pet friendly as a welcome bonus!”

“The room is very clean, I am very impressed by that, the sofa was a lil wrinkled but it’s fine. Staff was ok, it was late but everything worked out just fine. I’ll definitely recommend. Never had breakfast there as I was too busy so I can’t comment about it but my stag was well spent. The air conditioning was perfect”

“Vorrei dare un punto in più per la molta gentilezza dei due attempati quanto simpatici proprietari, ma lo schifo che c'era nella camera la mio arrivo (nel tardo pomeriggio) non può essere perdonata. Devo dire che lui ha provato a "spingermi" un'altra camera con diversa e non utile conformazione... Ma se poi io voglio quella, prenotata 4 mesi fa... me la devi far trovare pulita... Gli dico "Il bagno è sporco", lui mi dice "Appena possibile ti mando qualcuno", "...sì... ma 'appena possibile'...

“Very clean, and smelled wonderful. Only reason for Four instead of Five is no place to sit in the room, except the bed. There’s room for one. Overall I’d recommend it.”
