“This is one of the most quaint places I've stayed at. Building was built in early 1900's but has been refurbished inside with modern features but retains the old craftsman look and feel. Our room was larger than I expected. Bathroom was spacious and modern. The sink was smaller than expected but made sense actually. Extremely quiet. Monterey has very little activity. “We really enjoyed our stay. The area is beautiful and serene even with Potomac Road. The only thing I would say is it is not handicap accessible, the stairway is long and steep, but if that doesn’t bother you you will enjoy this gem.”

“My wife and I stayed at this wonderful cabin for 3 nights to celebrate our anniversary. I mentioned the anniversary in my initial message to the hosts and we were greeted with a festive assortment of anniversary-themed decorations. That was very thoughtful and personal, and set the tone for our stay.
