Hotel a Fultondale

“It had been several years since I visited a Hampton Inn. This Fultondale, AL Hampton Inn was a refreshing new design in total. The Property and Staff exceeded my expectations. I would definitely choose this Inn again. The Breakfast Offerings were extensive and very tasty. The Young Man Staffer was excellent and was very present and helpful. The Check-In Staff was very responsive and helpful also.”

“Everything was top-tier. We loved the room and how spacious it was. Our biggest thing was staying somewhere with a pool - preferably indoor - for our girls. Even though it was outdoors, the pool was located in the right spot for the sun to shine on it and warm the water to not be freezing cold but just right to jump right in. The breakfast was good. The only downside for us was the mattresses were very firm and the pillows were extremely soft. My husband stacked three pillows together but still...

“This LaQuinta was a disappointment. There was no hair dryer in the room & no hot water. Breakfast was also disappointing. Coffee pot in the room was disgusting. At breakfast there was No staff visible. Dirty counters & tables. No fresh fruit. No yogurt—very limited breakfast.”

“They canceled my room because I was very late, the worker working was new instead of reimbursing me he made me pay for another room. The next morning I talked to a different worker and he made it right.”

“My booking was non refundable and when I walked in a roach was running around the lobby. The person that checked me in wasn’t trained correctly because he locked himself out of the system and resulted in a hour check in wait time. The interior had visible spots that could be clearly clean. This place reminds of a independent place carrying the Marriott brand on a cheap budget.”

“Negatives: This sounds like it was outdated for decades and then instead of renovating, someone bought it in a cheap price and tried to use it as it is. The AC was extremely noisy. The toilet fixtures have rusty, the coffee maker was very dirty and not usable, the fitness center AC was off and locked, from 4 tools in fitness center, 3 of them were broken and one worked partially. The breakfast room was humid without a window. The receptionist did not explain the breakfast time. They expected...

“It was a very clean, quiet room. GREAT bed! I didn’t get a chance to eat the breakfast but it looked like there was a nice variety. The Check in girl was so sweet. And the girl at the desk when I checked out was sweet, too. The only thing - both mornings I woke up to the strong smell of cigarette smoke. I kept thinking it was coming from the room below me but when I left I noticed there were cigarette butts in the handicap parking place next to mine - along with dog poop. I think the smell was...

“This property is very run down and does not look like the photos. The room we were given had a hole out of the shower tub, the toilet seat was worn and looked about 20 years old. The amount of chemical smell in the room was enough to overwhelm your senses. The hotel says that it is non smoking, however the hallways stink of smoke. We immediately left the room and requested a refund. Will never stay here again.”
