Hotel a Gold Run

“This was a good stopping point for us on a trip. There's not much else around, but there is a restaurant on site that's pretty good. The room was very dated but clean. I appreciated the friendly staff, fantastic view from the back of the lodge, and easy access from the 80. I highly recommend Sierra Discovery trail nearby, it's a beautiful walk in the woods.”

“This is the epitome of the old fashioned motor lodge i remember from childhood. If you're looking for a concierge or a Marriott you're in the wrong place. The real draw here is the price. For a clean room with a good size fridge and microwave, you.pay less than $50 per night.”

“This is listed as a four-star hotel on Google, but that is not the case. It is definitely 2 1/2 as listed on Expedia. They did not have reliable Wi-Fi or any of the basic channels to watch sports. Based on other reviews it had recently changed ownership. They need to up their game or the poor reviews will start pouring in.”

“The hotel was nice. Location was good - you can walk into the old town of Grass Valley easily. Breakfast was very good and the dining room nice. There was a manager's hosted happy hour which was a nice touch. The bathrooms do need updating but everything worked fine. Housekeeping staff was very nice.”
