Hotel a Howard Lake

“Seems as though it were advertised as a Hotel. In reality it’s more of a motel. I’d say it was a clean place to sleep. We didn’t use amenities, if there were any. It took about 10 minutes for someone to come out to the front desk to check us in. They gave us 2 towels for a room with two queen beds. We had to request extra towels for the kids. Don’t expect a continental breakfast or anything like that, but there is a convenient store right across the street and a bar next door. Overall,...

“There was always someone available to answer questions. The property is old and could use some renovation to bring it up a little. Wood walls and "popcorn ceilings " that show wear and stain from age. Breakfast was waffles and sausage with some really good coffee. Definitely a good place to stay in the Midwest.”

“Lovely, cozy cabin. We really enjoyed our stay! Only hiccup we had, was that the driveway is pretty steep and we got stuck leaving one afternoon. Nothing anyone can do about that, except maybe a heads up in the description. (It was dark when we arrived ane we didn't realize how steep the driveway was until we were halfway down) After that, we parked at the top of the driveway and we had no issue! “An excellent option. Quaint boutique hotel with restaurant and bar. Rooms are spacious and very clean. The staff are amazing, friendly and really helpful. Their restaurant have a lot of gluten-free options. I recommend it!!!”
