Motel a Illinois settentrionale

“This was the worse experience I have ever had at a hotel. We came to check in at 2 pm no one was there for half an hour. When someone finally comes they check me in and give me my key. I was running late for a wedding so I didn't go up to the room. At 2 AM when I returned to the hotel I was unable to get into my room. I went downstairs and was told I never checked in and they gave away my room. So I was stranded at 2 AM in the middle of nowhere. It was a horrible experience.”

“Very minimal amenities … no coffee in room, minimal breakfast offerings, no soap, thin towels and bathroom rug … worst part was the bathrooms. Hate rooms for two nights pre-paid. Horrible dirty bathroom in one room and just okay in the other. Do not recommend I wish I could get my money back!”

“The room and building were clean and maintained. But there were no working ice machines on any of the 3 floors. Had to go to the front desk to ask for ice. Otherwise it was ok.”

“Lady nice checking us in but our credit card won’t work and needed a PIN number. A sheet of glass between us so used cash in the end. Very run down and old compared to others we had seen in our travels. Booked later at night and won’t do that again. Non smoking room but you could smell from years of smoke ”

“The room we got smelled like smoke and sweat, the bed had a red mystery stain on part of the sheets, the bathroom was clearly bare minimum clean, the outside of the hotel had trash strewn about, there were people shooting dirty looks at us. Maybe full time residents, there was a woman under the influence of some kind of drug outside. The staff tried to offer us two different rooms one of which smelled like smoke and was also unclean, the other smelled like cat pee so either a pet was snuck in or...

“Cockroach’s in the room upon entering. Bedsheets needed changed & front desk refused. The door appeared to be damaged, possibly kicked in & did not lock properly. There were no rooms left, so we left.”
