“This is a decent inexpensive motel. The room was clean. This motel needs a major refresh. The furniture finishes are worn in spots to bare wood and are scratched. Some of the woodwork had similar issues. The ceiling over the shower had a round spot of mold about the size of a dinner plate. It looked like it could have been caused by water dripping on ceiling from room above. The breakfast items were limited as was the coffee. The large coffee pot was empty but they did have a Keurig, so...

“I stayed here with my sons after a long day at Valley Fair. I needed connecting rooms for the 2 rooms I reserved and my request was met immediately. The rooms were extremely clean and updated with very modern choices. The lobby is welcoming with snacks and drinks (for purchase) and Vogue magazines on the side tables for reading. I didn’t have the breakfast but the area was very clean as well. I would definitely stay here again after a trip to Valley Fair. This was a very nice hotel.”

“The TV would freeze up for a up to 5 minutes at a time so hard to watch anything. Went down for breakfast at 6:50am and there were only a couple of sausage patties and round egg patties left, hash browns were all gone and no staff around to get more. Made a sandwich from what was there, decaf coffee air pot was empty. Staff showed up 10 minutes after we got down there but we were leaving at that point.”

“Check in was easy, the staff were helpful, the room was clean, and the free breakfast was great. Bottled water was provided at check in. This was perfect for our one night stay. The rooms are on the small side but very efficiently laid out. The bed was comfortable. There was a small fridge in the room which was a nice touch and the bathroom had lots of hooks for hanging clothes and towels. No coffee maker, but plenty of coffee in the breakfast area.”

“We were supposed to be able to check in at 3:00 p.m., but when we arrived around 3:45, our room still wasn’t ready because it hadn’t been cleaned. After waiting, we were told it was ready, but the floor was still wet, so we had to be careful. The entire hotel smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. Our room key didn’t work, and we had to have it reprogrammed three different times. There was also no internet or working phone in the room. “Room was very clean and comfortable. More like a suite than a room. Breakfast could have been better. There were sports teams checked in and things like coffee and hot food were out. Could have kept a better watch on this. Other than that nothing negative to say and would definitely stay here again.”

“The parking lot is in need of major repairs! A hole that is at least 12 inches deep! The stairwells are in need of fresh paint! The carpet is stained! The elevator is in need of an inspection for bouncing before opening the doors! The Lobby is presentable but once you reach the floors the carpet is stained such as spilled bleach on the carpet! “when we arrived our room was actually awful. we made a call to the front desk to be moved to the upper level and we got more than we barganed for. the stay was very nice after that. Due to the condition of the first room I gave a lower rating. the staff was amazing and you can tell the hotel is upgrading. right now things are a bit outdated in areas but overall it was a nice stay”
