“I was an Expedia VIP customer for the first time. Serge greeted me and assisted with getting me a welcome treat. Soft towels, jetted tub. Pleanty of hot water. Quiet room. Plenty of lighting. Large lot to park in. The only con is there is no level parking for motorcycles. Something they could improve on another otherwise amazing place.”

The restaurant that was recommended did not seem very appetizing and reviews were horrendous for it. We ended up finding a sushi place that was quite good, although when we came back and told the clerk she said that it was a bad place that had had hepatitis c outbreak. “This is an old building, but well maintained by the staff members, the breakfast being included balanced the price-real value. It is alway nice to have a fresh coffee or a bite before hitting the road. Our room was nice, good matresses, clean, white sheets. The location is good for short trips to the south coast (30 min to Lunenburg, 45 to Peggy's Cove)”

“Hotel and room were both sparkling clean, spacious and upscale from many hotels. Young man at the front desk was super efficient and personable. Breakfast was so so - scrambled eggs, potatoes sausage were all below average with limited fruit options. We appreciated the boiled eggs and English muffins. We typically leave without eating these premade breakfasts - but thought perhaps this might be better as it was in the restaurant. Should have read the reviews.”

“We had a very peaceful and relaxing stay in the Tulip Suite. We got great use out of the hot tub and propane fire pit. The tiny home was well laid out, well equipped, and well stocked.
