“It’s a hole in the wall Motel … did not expect much and got what I expected”

“This was our first experience at such an intimate B&B. I can’t imagine a better experience than what Dora provided for us. We were greeted with bowls of amazing chicken soup and crusty bread.. so thoughtful as she knew just we needed after a long chilly drive. We had a great evening enjoying the beautiful B&B. “The bathroom was dirty and full of hair; the bed was uncomfortable; the lobby was dirty; and the breakfast was poor.”

“Pool was not open so kids were a bit dissapointed, but we found things to do in the area instead. Overall decent stay! We had a 2 bedroom which turned out to be 2 beds in one area and 1 in another room… but it worked out for our family of 7…”

“The door lock was broken, I could not lock it from the outside. I told the hotel, but they just said they could give me another room as soon as available "tomorrow" - of no use to me, as "tomorrow" I was leaving! Due to this issue, I could not enjoy any of the hotel facilities as the only way to have the room locked was to be locked in... as from the outside, it did not lock. Broken, literally broken, and while there I only got a "Sorry". I had to ask Expedia's intervention to get a refund. but...
