“Literally right off the exit, the Wingate was surprisingly quiet. I was greeted nicely and carts were by the door to bring luggage upstairs. The desk clerk was helpful in sharing directions and breakfast was very good. It was an overall great stay and if the pool heater is repaired next time I travel through, I'll stay again.”

“The room and property were dirty. There was an unclean odor and vibe overall. We stayed here due to limited options with graduation weekend at Virginia Tech happening the same time we had a wedding to attend. Our bedspread had a red stain on it. The carpet had several white stains strewn in different areas. The chair in the corner was stained and filthy. We didn’t use it at all. The overall condition of the property was dingy. “Reserved a room..didn't get it They claimed that the rate was an Internet glitch.. Well if so they should inform the guest before we drive 4 hours there. ”

“Eventhough we booked through Expedia, a warning about the train horns, and noise at wee hours of the night would help with planning to choose this hotel, coupled with paper thin walls. Breakfast was pretty good. Room size, and double sinks were good.”

“Room with so unclean. Dirty floors and fleas. Non smoking room but had clearly been heavily smoked in!!! After a 12 hour drive, I could not relax or rest. I felt so uncomfortable!! My 3 year old seemed stressed and uncomfortable as well!!! :( Never again!!!!”
