Resort a Midlands del South Carolina

“This is a beautiful property. Too bad is was unkept. The grass seriously needed mowing. But the staff was pleasant, the amenities were great, nice pool, clean and spacious room. It’s sad this beautiful property has not been kept up. This would be an awesome hotel if it had. But if you don’t mind what the grounds look like, it is a great stay.”

“After Expedia accepted and confirmed my reservation, in the app and by email, two additional emails arrived saying that there had been a mistake and I would not, in fact, have a room to stay in at Tru. This was at 11:30 pm… The only other available room in this town was at Red Roof Inn, so I had to drive another hour to find a room. I don't know if the problem originated with Tru or Expedia but I would recommend confirming by phone if you do decide to book here. Have liked Tru in the past tho.”

“It was a beautiful old Southern home. Our room was very poorly lighted and difficult to see things in the dim bathroom. The room had a musty odor also but was very clean. Our beds were comfortable and amenities were nice. Bed linens felt luxurious. We were a bit disappointed in the included breakfast. It consisted of lukewarm scrambled eggs that tasted like powdered eggs. Some fresh fruit and a few pieces of danish as well as cold cereals and some breads for toasting. I expected something more...

“Everything was nice but as with many hotels the walls are very thin and the noise carries, hard to get any sleep on a weekend hearing doors opening and closing throughout the night. But the place was clean and a very friendly staff !!”

“We arrived At 345 pm and a king bed room was not ready. We waited until 445 pm. We were offered no compensation for the hr wait. Some if the safe were inappropriate taking about their “baby Daddy”. Upon arrival the coffee was cold and one tea bag. Breakfast was clean and plentiful however the bananas were terrible. The room was difficult to regulate the temperature. And the sink plug/stopper was missing. Bed was clean and comfortable but the pillows very lumpy.”
