“The room was clean and well stocked. Checking in was fast and easy. We went into the lounge which is also a whiskey bar. We had a very friendly and helpful Barman who gave us a flight of Islay whiskey. He was very knowledgeable. Next was dinner in the outside portion of the dinning room. “The manager was extremely helpful !! 😊 My room was cool enough even though the outdoor temperatures soared to 28 degrees and hotter! Wi-Fi was available and there were a number of channels to choose from on TV. There were cafes and restaurants close by. The flowers were a lovely addition to the property! 🌹🌸 The price was more affordable than other hotels in the area! 🤗 Margot Denny Nanaimo June 24, 2026”

“Quiet, mid level hotel. Basic breakfast but Ricky’s restaurant is onsite. Pet friendly and it felt safe. Staff was great…going through renovations right now.”
