“The smell in the room was horrible…Indian food or Marijuana smell. I had to hold a tea bag to my nose to sleep. The breakfast was mediocre…nothing special. The staff did not help me with my room issue. They were too busy. Other than the smell, the room was clean. I usually don’t complain about my hotel stays.”

“OK it’s not a resort hotel but it was decent for the money. The rooms were clean and useable. The sink was in the main room and the shower and toilet were in a separate bathroom which was weird and the door to the bathroom opened into the main room instead of into the bathroom which made moving around a bit awkward. Other than those oddities it was OK.”

“Check in flawless and easy, room clean, spacious and temperature controlled for environment. Quiet surroundings, excellent choice of TV channels when we were in the room itself. Friendliest, most knowledgeable and patient staff with every guest who check in or out the entire time we were there. And what a tasty selection for breakfast, hot and cold, you name it! It was there and tasty!!! Haven't had this wonderful of a hotel experience in YEARS!!! We would go back in a heartbeat just to visit!”

“Our hotel room had no chairs, otherwise it was great. The beds and linens were fine, and there was a great shower and tub. Clean carpet. No odors. Quiet. Nice, easy, and safe location, with stores, restaurants, and shops within easy walking distance.”

“The A/C and the refrigerator were extremely noisy. We had to turn them off entirely to reconcile our sleep and opened the windows for ventilation but we could still hear the neighbors A/C’s. The carpet is smelly too. The staff on the other hand are very friendly and helpful.”

“Katerina hotel is a must stay for those traveling to Chico. Clean, beautiful esthetic, with nice restaurant and bar amenities. Happy hour was a plus with nice food offerings and tasty drinks. The pool was well maintained and sunny. Staff at hotel went above and beyond to check in with you to make sure your stay was as comfortable as possible. Rooms were well sized, huge bathroom, and clean. Would recommend staying here - close to shopping and freeways.”

“My stay at this motel 6 was about as expected. Though I didn’t use it, the pool area looked great. The room was as expected. Plenty of hot water in the showers. The only real negative was the noise. We could hear people’s conversations as they walked by. Loud vehicles on nearby Hwy. 99 woke us up. Not the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at, but it was decent.”

If this place gets shut down, it will be because of poor management, 2/5 that I booked were infested with roaches. When I personally told the manager, she said that nobody had ever made that accusation before and if it was true I should have said something before.
