“It’s possible a lot of what I found disappointing in the property was poor timing. The hotel was sold on Sunday and we checked in Tuesday. After a long day of traveling we just wanted to check in, relax at the bar with a drink, and go to sleep. However, the bar wasn’t open. We were then told the elevator wasn’t working and but thankfully we were only on the 2nd floor. The continental breakfast was yogurt, cereal, oatmeal, or bagels…. but no toaster. “The Boiling Springs, PA location is East Coast Americana at its vest, and the Allenbey property along the river is just a gem. Well maintained, pleasant staff, and a ton of amenities spread across a mix of restored pre civil war buildings abd bew room additions. Their ace attraction is a stretch of fly fishing perfect water on property right below a small dam that offers protected and stocked trout fly fishing year round. Heaven on earth.”
