“I would try other hotels before I stayed here again and I would never stay here with another guest in the same room. The pictures must be 20 years old because the property is more worn than advertised. Bathroom was very small, like leave your toiletries in the room small. Breakfast was below average. ”

“We visited Gettysburg during a heatwave and the hotel was cool and comfortable all night. It was very helpful to have check in parking at the front entrance so we could register and then head to the nearby parking garage- especially as it was so hot and crowded in town. Our room was clean and spacious and cool at check in! I also really like the scan code to tip the cleaning crew- very convenient!”

“I called the night before arrival and requested checkin for 3pm on the date of arrival to prepare for a wedding. (Standard checking time is 4pm.) I was told that that would be okay and that a fee would not be required. I was charged an additional $50 on my credit card by Allenberry Resort -- not through Expedia. I also slipped and fell in the shower, which was sloped and covered with a slippery soap-like film, and had no friction/anti-slip tape or decals. I explained this to the 2 desk clerks...

“Very clean and spacious room with hard-surface flooring and comfortable beds. The location was peaceful with nearby food options. The pool was fabulous and the property was immaculate. This is a solid 3- to 4- star hotel.”

“The pool was terrible, the water was green and was it apparent that the water has not been cleaned in awhile. This was a huge let down because I was traveling with children. Other than that the staff were friendly, the food was good and the rooms were clean.”
