“OK but old looking”

“I booked property for a World Cup match. Walking to either Arrow Stadium or Royals Baseball stadium is but 10 mins. It’s an older property, in a non-visitor area. I was aware. If familiar w/ KC, & hv a vehicle/car svc, getting to main city center, sights, restaurants is extremely simple, & quick. Staff were multilingual, helpful, & generous w/ attention for those nding. Rooms are clean, but property is older. Amenities are limited. Recommend for ez stadium access. Made our World Cup adventure...

“I had a terrible experience staying at the Red Lion in Kansas City. The hotel was dirty from the moment I walked in. The hallways had a strong unpleasant smell, and the room was not clean at all. It looked like it hadn’t been properly cleaned before my arrival, which made the stay very uncomfortable. The overall condition of the hotel was disappointing and nothing like I expected. Cleanliness should be a basic standard, but this property failed in that regard. I would not recommend staying here...

“Good hotel but the place could use upgrading. Carpets smelt a bit and the hallways smelt of weed. But overall an OK stay. Nothing unpleasant or unusual happened. The lady at the front desk was helpful and nice and so was Sharif.”

“When I first got there, I was checked in by the rudest front desk clerk who is terrible had an absolutely terrible attitude didn’t offer me bottled water. Nothing truly just a piss poor attitude and then I got to the room and the room was absolutely dirty again dirty handprints all over the bathroom. The front door to the room was so dirty. There was literally dirt dripping down the back of the door in the room. Very very disappointing. Stay.”
