I am writing to express my disappointment with our recent stay and to request appropriate compensation for the significant delay in receiving our room. Our scheduled check-in time was 4:00 PM. We arrived at around 2:00 PM and completed the pre-check-in process. We spent the afternoon at the pool while waiting for our room to be ready. However, even after 4:00 PM, our room was still unavailable. At approximately 4:30 PM, I went to the front desk to ask when it would be ready. I was told that the room was still being prepared and that I would be contacted as soon as it was ready. I was also told it would take about another 30 minutes. Unfortunately, by 5:20 PM, I still had not received any update. My younger daughter is only two years old, and she was extremely tired and needed to rest. I had to return to the front desk a second time to ask about our room. In the end, we did not receive our room keys until after 5:40 PM—more than an hour and forty minutes after the official check-in time. This delay had a significant impact on our family vacation. Because we could not access our room on time, we were unable to rest, and our plans for the evening had to be delayed. What should have been a relaxing family trip became a frustrating experience. I understand that unexpected delays can happen, but I was disappointed by the lack of communication and the length of the wait.
