“A very pleasant surprise. This is a very 'value-centric' place to lay your head. Very clean, accommodating check in process, Close to all needed stuff (food, gas, etc). Proximity to Burt Lake State Park is great! It is a bit noisy in the morning due to existing on a main road - not the Owners' fault. Not disappointed in the least. ”

“When we arrived, we were told we had to pay an extra "environmental fee" (about $6.86 for 2 nights) to pay for some fee the city adds. (there was NO indication of this when I made the reservation). The beds were comfortable and the sheets were clean. But it said, in the paperwork we were given at check-in,that housekeeping wouldn't come in the room until we left, but they still did. Parking wasn’t very good. The TV channel selection was not good either. Entrance nearest elevator was uneven...

“Great breakfast. Nice clean room. King bed, drawers and place to hang clothes. Hair dryer and plenty of towels Comfortable beds. Wonderful view of lake and bridge from our balcony. Walking distance to town. Loved nightly fire pits and smores. Staff very nice and very helpful.”

“Rooms are outdated, fridge didn't work, microwave didn't work. Took time to figure out the temperature. Also had to pay to watch tv. It was okay but not terrible”

“It was nice and we really could have walked to Shepler’s Ferry (11 minutes) to Mackinac Island instead of using the van. It was conveniently located to Joann’s Fudge (best in town), restaurants and sights.”

“Game room had no working games and the vending machines ate some of our money. The pool was freezing first day and kinda warm the second. Staff was great”
