“I have stayed at multiple B&B's and by far this was the nicest! The family that runs it are so down to earth and treat you like family. Breakfast was amazing, I'm not sure what the chef does that's so special, but definitely one of the best omelets we have ever had! Definitely give this place a try, it's within walking distance to restaurants, and there's a historic cemetery on the way that you can stroll through and see Stonewall Jacksons burial site and monument. And don't forget the sunset...

“First time at a bed and breakfast. Very enjoyable and more important relaxing spot away from the craziness of the city. Room was perfect and I actually enjoyed the room not having a tv which was a great way to disconnect and I appreciate that! Would come back here again for a wine trip!”

“The pictures do not do this room justice! absolutely beautiful and so very comfortable. our 12 year old used the pull out and said it was the most comfortable one ever! Linda is a fantastic host and so very friendly and welcoming. I wish we could have stayed multiple nights. Of all the places we stayed during our vacation this was, by far, our favorite!! I can't say enough - stay here and you'll be happy you did!”

“We really enjoyed our stay at this quaint and luxurious bed-and-breakfast. There were comfortable common areas to enjoy along with the complete privacy of your own room complete with coffee, tea, and a personal sized refrigerator. The hostess had the option to take breakfast to go with many drink and food items to choose from. She even accommodated our dietary and allergy restrictions. We thought the breakfast sliders were amazing!”

“Booked this property for 3 nights as we were attending a VMI graduation and a wedding. This was perfect. Linda made our stay awesome. We did a red-eye in and were able to check in early for a quick nap. The breakfast every morning was sooooo good. She even arranged a tea tasting, which unfortunately we were not able to attend because of our conflicting schedule. The room was large and comfortable. “This is easily the nicest rental we have ever stayed in!! The house is decorated very appropriately for the represented timeframe with modern consciences. It was a step back to my childhood! My daughters had a blast exploring all the antique items, toys,cash register, etc. The home is situated in a small town that is very safe and walkable.
