Hotel a Riverside

“ Lose to a Walmart , theaters, highway but not too close. ”

“When we arrived we were told there was no elevator. bit of a surprise and difficult as we only pack 1 large suitcase. The room was ugly with ill-fitting furniture, scratched, gouges, worn, and the shower floor creaked. kind of weird. staff were friendly, WAY OVERPRICED”

“I like how the breakfast options were different every day. The pool was dirty and cold, trash cans were overflowing throughout the hotel, our drain for the shower didn’t work so we showered in standing water then it would take 15 minutes to fully empty.”

“I booked the deluxe suite because it had 2 bedrooms . . . But there was no door between the 2 rooms so it was a waste. There was no hot water in the morning u til they got it fixed around 10:30am. Breakfast was toast, bagels, yogurt, juice, frozen pancakes you could microwave yourself and frozen breakfast sandwiches you could microwave yourself. No linens provided for pullout sofa bed until I asked and even then, they only provided fitted sheet and blanket, NO flat sheet. No towels in pool until...

“The staff at the counter seemed very overwhelmed and not friendly not really informative on anything either. The elevators look like they have not been serviced in a very long time. It had a weird smell throughout the entire hotel. The rooms had weird little spots of darkness. For breakfast, the staff were very pushy and trying to make people hurry up and gather food items to get out of their way overall, the hotel was a disaster.”

“I liked that it’s family owned, didn’t enjoy the basement smell our 2 rooms had. It was pet friendly with a friendly staff.”

“Sadly, the room next door was obnoxious. A child stomped around each evening when I got back to my room. The adults in the room were awake past 2AM laughing and talking loudly. They had music playing with the bass beating the wall. My room was an adjoining room to theirs- maybe that is why it was so bad. The carpet in my room was stained and the soap holder in the shower was broken off. The water was hot and shower pressure was good. The bed was comfortable. Given the name, I thought the...

“We had a 3 bed queen suite. It was given to a client the day before. They gave us 2 rooms with 2 queens, but the idea was that the family be together.”

“Good hotel, all in general was ok, no breakfast. Not very close to downtown.”

“The hotel was close to my daughter's house. With that being said, what you are paying for the stay, I would expect things to look more up-to-date, the shower not have chips in it and the tile should not be comming off, lights should work and the continental breakfast alot better then they were.”
