“The Margaret Suite (room 8) double room was really good. Four poster bed and a fridge in the room. It’s the first floor bay window at the front of the building so you can see the sea. Apart from arrival, I didn’t see staff again. The room was clean and the room was quiet.
The Expedia booking confirmation from the hotel starts with “Unfortunately…” and goes on about what you can and can’t do and their right to change the price. It’s not very welcoming so I’d recommend changing that. ”

“Comfy room, generous towels.
Arrived late Friday evening, no bother getting a table in the pub downstairs for food- they don't take table reservations, so I wasn't at a disadvantage. Good wide choice on the menu and attentive service.
There was a nightwatchman for after hours- what a treasure! He showed me how to access once the pub was closed, helped me empty the bags from the car and carried them to our room all with a friendly, nothing was too much trouble approach. A real asset to the Old...

“We just had a standard double room, I was suprised how nice it was for the price.
The hotel itself is lovely, such a beautiful place.

“I can honestly say everything was perfect with the room, it was beautiful, clean, all the amenities you needed was there, front of house was well mannered and polite when we arrived. I had requested for room to be decorated alittle special as it was our anniversary, and my request was granted so if you do want to stay somewhere and make it special always ask they are happy to help.
Only one slight problem with the room is the noise level from other rooms, you were able to hear walking around,...
