“A wonderful hotel and an exceptional experience was marred by one of the worst breakfast experiences we can recall. Although we arrived in the dining area at 9:15am - still 45 minutes til the end of service, there was little left. No eggs or any side dish. No batter left for waffles. There weren’t even coffee cups til we asked for some more to be brought out. There was syrup on the floor, where it had been for at least half an hour prior, per reports of those who’d been there. “Air conditioning unit wasn’t working properly during the day and the room was warm. Staff said it would be fixed but it remained an issue. Air conditioner was also very loud. Hotel is relatively unclean, poorly maintained, and not characteristic of the photos in advertisement. Definitely would have left if the reservation was refundable and won’t stay here again.”
