“I liked to stay in Harrah's in the past years when I spent my vacations in South Lake Tahoe, due to the convenience of self-parking and the great buffet. Right now the general conditions have totally changed: there is no more buffet, the breakfast at the Brew Brothers is not as good as the previous cafe underground, and the worst thing is that almost the whole public area is under renovation with new carpet and new machines, which makes chaos everywhere. “First of all, the rooms are false advertisement. The room I booked looked nothing like the room we got. It was old, smell humid, nothing worked in that room. The tv didn’t work, the shower was leaking, the hair dryer didn’t work. We stayed at room 828. Will never go back. The staff and the receptionist were no help. They did nothing to accommodate that the room smelled and it was so old. This hotel does have a remodel tower called the Sunrise side maybe the rooms are better in that tower....

“Was excited to stay in this place because it had a pool. Upon checking in we were notified that the pool was not in service! My fault I guess I should have asked before booking but nothing stated of their pool not being in service online. Staff was not the friendliest at check in or check out. The sink faucet was so loose not tightened at all, shower felt like you were going to break trying to turn it on.”

“We had an incredible time at the Timber Lodge. Room was spacious and very clean. Access to the shops and restaurants at Heavenly was so convenient. Rob, the activities coordinator, took us on a personal hike through Van Sickle as no one else signed up and we had a wonderful time. All around one of our best experiences staying at a lodge.”
